Use the letter strip or scroll the grid to find what you're looking for. Each topic links to a dedicated page that explains how therapy can help, what to expect, and how to book. If you're searching for a specialist therapist near me in Marlow or Uxbridge, every condition listed below is within my clinical scope. Topics shown in plain text are in my scope but the page isn't published yet — get in touch and I'll talk you through that work directly.
Therapy Specialisms — Narcissistic Abuse, Relationships & More
Narcissistic abuse recovery, toxic relationship therapy, CBT, EMDR and person-centred counselling — plus every other condition and life-event I work with, in one scannable index. If something isn't on this list, it isn't in my scope and I'll refer you to a colleague whose specialism it is.
How I can help — A to Z
Every condition, theme and life-event I work with. The Marlow practice is the primary home for each topic; Uxbridge variants exist for the lead specialisms. If something you're looking for isn't listed, it isn't in my scope — I'll refer you on to a colleague who specialises in it.

Choosing your therapy specialism in Marlow or Uxbridge
How do I know which specialism applies to me?
Most people arrive knowing what they're carrying, not what it's called. On the free 30-minute call we'll talk through what's happening — I'll tell you honestly whether one of my specialisms is the right fit, or whether you'd be better served by a colleague whose specialism it is.
What if my issue spans more than one specialism?
That's the rule, not the exception. Anxiety travels with toxic-relationship recovery; codependency with people-pleasing; trauma bonding with low self-esteem. The A–Z is a navigation aid, not a diagnosis — we work with all of it in the room together.
Do you work online, in person, or both?
Both. In person at The Courtyard in Marlow or Beasley's Yard in Uxbridge; online by secure video anywhere in the UK. Many clients mix the two — start in person, switch to online when travel or work patterns shift.
What if my issue isn't on the A–Z?
Then it's not in my scope, and I'll say so. I keep a referral network of trusted colleagues for the work I don't do (specific psychiatric diagnosis, severe eating disorders, acute addiction, perinatal mental health). A free 30-minute call is the fastest way to get pointed in the right direction.
How quickly can I start?
I aim to offer a free 30-minute call within 2 working days of you getting in touch. If we're a fit, first session is usually within the following week. If I'm at capacity I'll tell you on the call — and where possible, suggest a colleague who can see you sooner.
If you're in crisis right now
Therapy isn't an emergency service. If you or someone you're with is at immediate risk, call 999. For free 24/7 emotional support, the Samaritans are on 116 123 or jo@samaritans.org. The National Domestic Abuse Helpline (24/7, free, confidential) is 0808 2000 247. For NHS mental-health support call 111 and choose option 2.
Let's talk through what's going on
Free, no-pressure 30-minute call. Tell me what's happening — I'll tell you honestly whether my work is the right fit, or who I'd suggest instead.
